Graduated from Clemson University with a B.S. degree in Psychology in May 2013. Earned a Master's Degree in Occupational Therapy at the University of St. Augustine for Health Sciences in May 2017. I started my career as an OTR at Scripps Health- which has been recognized as one of America's Top 10 health systems. My experience at Scripps Memorial- La Jolla (SMLJ) exposed me to a diverse patient population from a densely populated urban environment. SMLJ is a 364 bed hospital and a level II trauma center. I have experience working with patients on all floors, such as: trauma, psych, cardiac, orthopedic, general medical and intensive care. Relocating to Greenville, SC in March, 2020, I served as the primary Occupational Therapist at Spartanburg Regional's Ellen Sagar Nursing Center (ESNC). ESNC is a 113 bed skilled nursing facility that offers both short-term and long-term care, I evaluated and treated patients with neurological disorders, orthopedic injuries and geriatric care. During my time at ESNC I contributed my skills to help the rehab department grow, as well as help propose and receive grant money to begin a dementia care unit.In June 2021, I began my job at Prisma Health Greenville Memorial Hospital (GMH), which is a 746 bed hospital, the largest hospital in South Carolina. GMH is a level I trauma center and stroke center. At GMH, I evaluated and treated patients on general medical, surgical, trauma, orthopedic, neuro, cardiac and intensive care units.
