Mission : to stimulate the development of Francophone tourism in British-Columbia.

Work performed at the Office of Francophone and Francophile Affairs (OFFA).- Completed student recruitement objectives for the French Cohort Program for the 2022-23 cohort through presentations in French immersion schools throughout B.C., and the participation at numerous internal and external events (on and off campus).- Diversified and implemented student life activities and events for francophone and francophile students at SFU, allowing students to develop their sense of belonging to the francophone community by making connections and expanding their use of the French language outside of the classroom.- Improved the Student Life monthly newsletter through the creation of student centered content and the increase of graphics and visuals that reflects the dynamism and diversity of the Francophone and Francophile community at SFU.- Facilitated the creation of a yearly agreement between OFFA and the Conseil Jeunesse Francophone de la Colombie-Britannique that reinforces the collaboration and partnership between the two entities in the delivery of activities and services to SFU’s francophone and francophile students.  - Maintained and developed OFFA’s relationship with undergraduate partners within SFU such as student associations and faculties, enabling stronger collaboration to meet common goals.- Successfully hired, trained, supervised and evaluated the Assistant, Recruitement and Student Life who’s mandate is to support all aspects of the Recruitement and Student life mission at OFFA.

Responsible for promoting research results and their impact in alignment with the corporate strategy. - Managed the planning and production of the annual review of activities IMPACT Magazine with tight timeframes, a limited budget, and a variety of stakeholders (writers, designers, reviewers) - Successfully coordinated FPInnovations’ participation at DEMO International Equipment Show, one of North America’s largest and most distinctive forestry equipment shows. Supervised the complex logistics and branding associated with the setup of an interactive booth in the forest showcasing FPInnovations’ innovative solutions. FPInnovations’s participation led to new research opportunities and expanded the organization’s reach and exposure- Organized a press conference and on-site demonstration of autonomous trucks on forest roads in Québec bringing together key partners while ensuring an extended media coverage (local and national) that resulted in new potential partnerships and research opportunities - Wrote articles and press releases daily with very little information and a restricted timeline, summarizing and simplifying scientific content for online and print platforms - Established numerous communication plans for a variety of new programs, services, or events leading to measurable increased exposure and benefits

Responsible for recruiting prospective students to the French Cohort Program by:- Presenting the program to individuals or to groups, either on campus or off campus, in a variety of educational, community and professional settings in B.C. and other provinces- Maintaining and developing collaborations and partnerships with various associations- Providing information and advice regarding admissibility, scholarships, financial aid and other student services
