Managing a 94 bed residential home throughout one of the most challenging times in healthcare. I was responsible for a team of 60 employees in delivering care to our service users. Due to the significant challenges of COVID and organisational decisions the home was sold to Navigo . I was appointed to oversee the closure to ensure the overall impact to staff and residents were minimal, which involved communications at a high level and key delivery of HR processes.

Newgrove House is a 41 bed residential home , registered inadequate in July 2017. I took appointment as Registered Manager in August 2017, and led the team to achieve `Good` status with the CQC within just an 8 month period. My strong management and leadership history, in addition to being qualified at `Bachelors` level, in the relevant Health & Social Care field has given me a combination of both experience and skill to competently manage change within organisations. Leading/managing a team of 30+ healthcare professionals, adhering to the healthcare practices of cqc, ccg, nmc , in delivering person centred care to service users in a 41 bed health care facility.

Managing the Classified , Events and New Business teams to achieve print/online revenues, in a fast paced media environment. Marketing , budgeting , leading/developing sales teams. Responsible for managing a team of 14 sales professionals to achieve business revenues across classified advertising platforms, events and new business revenues streams. A senior position in one of the leading businesses in Grimsby and Scunthorpe that required strong inter-personal skills and the ability to drive, develop and lead sales teams. The decline of newspaper sales has contributed to multiple staff redundancies in recent years.
