I worked as a clinical child psychologist in Alberta for over 20 years -- including with young children at a clinic, teenagers in residential treatment centres (Woods and Hull home in Calgary and a range of school-aged children in various therapeutic treatment programs for the Calgary Board of Education (outreach, mental heath programs, programs for students who qualify as "high risk" ).  I have also had a part-time private practice during that time.  Now in the latter part of my career, I find myself living part-time in Alberta and part-time in BC. I am a registered psychologist in Alberta and a registered clinical counsellor in BC. My private practice involves therapy and consultation. I have worked with families struggling with complex hardship (including trauma) since the early 1990s.  My approach is wellness and strength-based with a focus on integrating the body and mind in the therapeutic process.  I do not use EMDR but rather I do a kind of trauma therapy that integrates Narrative therapy practices with Mind-Body practices. At the present time, I offer tele-therapy only.
