In this temp to perm role, I was responsible for all HR and finance business areas. This included recruitment, onboarding, building a growth & learning-focused culture, daily operations management, value maximisation from a lean budget, monthly invoicing, project cost management and project forecasting. My key accomplishment was to instigate a regular, efficient cash flow and pipeline forecasting process so that the owners had on hand key information required to confidently make financial and resourcing decisions. Futurespace (uniquely) utilises an agile approach to resource and project management. Hassell is a global, multidisciplinary architecture, design and urban planning studio connecting insight with creativity to design places people love. I was responsible for managing the 10+ EA and business support team, as well as the day to day running of the prestigious Sydney studio. With over 120 designers, in two locations, and with 17+ principals to respond to, it was a challenging position due to the many stakeholders. However, my initiatives increased overall studio happiness, collaboration and communication through skilful event and project management. My key accomplishment was to make my own role redundant by advocating for and nurturing our Studio Coordinator, who was able to solve their immediate key studio and front of house problems in an uncertain down turning market.www.hassellstudio.com

H&E Architects are a dynamic, Sydney based design firm specialising in hospitality and residential architecture, interiors, furnishings and styling. From the Opera House to Hayman Island, they've designed some of the best places to eat, drink and enjoy life in. As a board member with responsibility for all operations, I was instrumental in transitioning H&E into a strategically led, process and outcome-driven firm. I also provided executive-level support to the two extremely busy Directors. There were many key accomplishments in this role as I was given the autonomy to create impact and drive implementation of the agreed business goals. Projects included: - Managed the smooth office relocation with minimal downtime [and on budget] - Implemented new branding across internal and external media and templates- Designed, built and tested their current website using Squarespace - including all copywriting - Assisted and supported the Directors during an outgoing directorship transition and redundancy process - Designed & implemented a holistic performance & induction system including bonus pool incentive scheme - Successful tender and awards preparation and submission including AIA, AIDA, IDEA, INDE + international awards - Managed the transition of all accounting processes from Quickbooks to Xero including Deltek PIM integration - Designed & implemented a WIP / Resourcing routine & bespoke reporting resulting in greater project financial visibility for the senior team - Collation and communication of practice standards and procedures, including InDesign, Word & Excel template creation - Planned, managed executed and enjoyed numerous events from small gatherings to a large client event www.h-e.com.au

At SJB Planning, I was responsible for all administrative, financial, marketing, communications and human resource management whilst supporting two very busy Directors. Varied daily tasks also included recruitment, event management, tender compilation, high volume court and report document preparation, client and stakeholder liaison, invoicing and accounts, diary and correspondence management.My key accomplishment was to successfully transition the paper-based accounting system to a more efficient and transparent process using Deltek Vision in consultation with our external partners, M4D. In addition to this full-time role, I worked for SJB Interiors as an Interior Designer primarily compiling client presentations, sourcing and managing supplier liaison, designing and documenting projects including testing room layouts. www.sjb.com.au

I worked closely with Sophie Leopardi an award-winning designer, on primarily high-end residential projects. My role included design and amendment of tender and contract drawings, drafting elevations from hand-drawn plans, compiling and editing schedules and specifications, as well as material, product and furniture coordination, selection and research. Located in the heart of Fortitude Valley's vibrant nightlife district, BUNK Brisbane is a multi-award winning hostel that led the way in "flash-packer" style accommodation.I was responsible for managing all aspects of a 24 hour 250 bed hostel with a strong focus on exceptional customer service provision in a demanding industry. This included staff recruitment, training, rostering, disciplinary procedures, OH&S compliance & general staff organisation as well as marketing & growth planning, safety & security management, IT & building maintenance & issue resolution. My key accomplishments included being the solo coordinator of a winning QLD Tourism Awards submission which required an in-depth analysis of the whole business from financial, marketing, product & sustainability viewpoints.
