As a lifeguard manager, I make sure everyone is safe and happy at the pool. I run rotation, make sure the right pools are opening and closing, know what groups are coming in, set up for meets, change lane lines, and check chemicals. This is my third year working for UGA Rec Sports, and my first year as a manager.

I was responsible for picking up the cart, taking inventory, getting food, and keeping everyone happy on the course. I was also responsible for ringing up all totals at the end of the day and restocking the cart for the next day. I also assisted the golf pros and event.

As a lifeguard and water safety instructor for the City of St. Petersburg, I am primarily responsible for keeping the patrons of the pool healthy and safe. I also teach swim lessons at the city pool and provide private lessons. I keep the appearance of the pool clean and provide a welcoming environment for the people of St. Petersburg. I worked in May 2008.
