I tracked and managed overseas imports for six departments to ensure product arrived on time while maintaining open communication with buyers regarding any issues and interceding on their behalf with our freight forwarder, carriers, and vendors. I also reviewed all purchase orders set to depart during a restricted time and discovered $4 million worth of product that needed to be accelerated into production to prevent delays. Along with that, I worked with internal and external business partners to obtain product ahead of the China Section 301-Tariff cutoff and created reporting for our COVID-19 Crisis Plan to help advise the best course of action. I also assisted in the creation of a custom-designed Manhattan Transportation Management System by outlining business requirements, testing the program, and leading SCI report creation. I have also trained 3 employees on our systems and processes and was selected to be an intern trainer.

I assisted the nation’s largest municipally-owned natural gas utility by executing reports and creating and making recommendations for RFQs. I had been able to work extensively in Excel and Oracle, learning about both systems, from editing POs to creating macros. My daily functions included running reports that assist in inventory management. I also trained another intern.

While I was at JumpStart NJ, I reached out to different leaders to gather information on the companies that they had invested in. I also set up a spreadsheet for better record keeping.

I walk, feed and train animals in the Lexington area. I have trained multiple dogs to become better at listening to their owner's commands and to be tamer. I also have taken care of cats that required daily medicine while their owners were away.

I helped tutor and was in charge of the other tutors working with the younger children and while the owner was absent I was acting manager. While working, I also filed paperwork and did data input. Not only did I teach students but I also had to communicate to the parents about the child's work and progress.
