Caroline Cathcart is a high-performing, results-oriented financial services executive with a track record of success in numerous senior officer and leadership roles over more than 25 years. In her roles at RPIA, Caroline was instrumental in taking the firm to the next level, including leading new product development and the creation and launch of numerous private and public funds since 2015. She also contributed to many of the firm's transformational processes and technology improvements.Prior to joining RPIA in July 2015, Caroline was Vice President, Corporate Development at Dundee Global Investment Management and was part of the executive team focused on building an alternative investment platform. Caroline’s past experience includes the investment management of a number of Alternative Investment funds as well as private wealth management for select high-net-worth clients, and she was instrumental in the development of a $4 billion wealth management business at a boutique investment firm. Caroline has extensive experience managing investment teams, exempt market products and investment infrastructure and is a recognized leader in the investment management industry. In 2017, Caroline was nominated for the WXN Canada’s Most Powerful Women: Top 100™ Awards. Caroline is an experienced Director with extensive Chair Experience (Board Vice-Chair, Chair of Finance & Audit Committee, Chair of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Justice working group, Chair of Impact & Peer Engagement Committees) and Committee Member Experience (Member of Governance Committee, Executive Committee, Operating Committee, and Management Committee). Caroline holds the Canadian Investment Manager (CIM) designation, a Master of Laws from the University of Edinburgh, and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from Queen’s University. She is a Fellow of the Canadian Securities Institute (FCSI®), and a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Toronto.
