During a certain period we had 4 interns to develop proposals for contenders and work on GHG inventories. At the end of the journey, I lead the team during the negotiation with a company in Germany to bring their technology to Brazil. Worked as a summer intern researching biomass pretreatment with ionic liquids and lignin extraction. Performed compositional analysis using 1D and 2D-HPLC, UV-VIS spectroscopy and destructive analytical methods (acidic and enzymatic digestion, autoclave and water content analysis, for example).

Worked as a lab assistant on a kinetic study of a catalytic esterification reaction (butyl butanoate production), preparing catalysts, samples and performing gas chromatography.
