I produce and edit podcasts for KUOW. I have led multiple podcast teams as Senior Producer. My work includes Seattle Now, a daily news podcast, Second Wave, an award-winning series about the second generation Vietnamese-American experience, and Battle Tactics for Your Sexist Workplace, a show about workplace sexism. My work as a producer involves producing entertaining and informative episodes, working collaboratively with a team, working on deadline pressure, show development prior to launch, booking guests on a fast turnaround, interviewing, pre-interviewing, project management, field reporting, script writing and editing, sound design, working with outside vendors, community engagement and a variety of other responsibilities. Before producing and editing podcasts, I produced segments for KUOW’s midday show The Record with Bill Radke.

I worked on three research projects involving electric vehicles, including a diary study that I led. I wrote survey questions, prepared onboarding materials and produced instructional videos for participants.

I developed and co-taught a podcast course in the School of Theology and Ministry. I guided approximately twenty students through producing and reporting podcast episodes about immigration.

I produced DnA, a podcast about design and architecture, in collaboration with the host, Frances Anderton. I managed and edited its digital presence as well as the broadcast show. I conducted research, booked guests for shows and led DnA’s social media strategy. I covered everything from the redesign of the Los Angeles River to wearable technology.

I managed all digital content associated with two popular KCRW radio shows (and podcasts): DnA and Good Food. Aside from writing and editing blog posts, I also formulated the digital strategy for reaching both audiences. In addition, I produced and edited audio stories for All Things Considered and assisted in events production.

Reporter and producer for Daily Bruin Radio Series "In Perspective." The series explored contemporary issues from a historical lens with interviews of UCLA history professors on a range of topics including the Syrian Civil War, Obama's visit to Myanmar, and the Black Friday strikes at Walmart.
