I also strived to support my staff by guaranteeing they received a great wage while working in a secure environment. Also, I introduced takeout options for alcoholic beverages whenever regulations permitted and encouraged customers to linger by creating a spacious and inviting atmosphere. This involved removing several tables and chairs to allow for more room and space between tables, redesigning menus for a cleaner look and new material that could be easily disinfected, and offering a variety of enjoyable cocktails and dishes like sundried tomato burrata with olive ciabatta. Additionally, the back of the menu featured a number of engaging questions to spark conversations at the table, increasing our seating time by 25% once this interactive element was incorporated. I also introduced happy hour and gift cards for our customers. On the trim team, we worked on design research, managing tasks like sourcing trims, sampling, and aiding in various activities all over New York City. Each day demanded a positive mindset as I navigated through diverse responsibilities without a fixed schedule.
