As part of my dual role, I was responsible for leading all Evelina London fundraising including developing and implementing strategic direction, and identifying, assessing and developing feasible fundraising opportunities and propositions.

I was proud to lead a team of 15 brilliant fundraisers whilst developing their new 5 year fundraising strategy, launching Tommy's first senior volunteer philanthropy board as well as their first and very successful major donor matched-funding appeal.

We fundraise for King's College London, Guy’s and St Thomas’ hospitals, including Evelina London Children’s Hospital, Guy's Cancer Hospital, King’s College Hospital and South London and Maudsley. Through a complex fundraising mix of corporate partnerships, community and events fundraising (challenge and special), I lead a successful team of twelve that has seen significant income growth over the last four years. Key highlights include: our award winning Guy's Urban Challenge and our £1.1m Evelina London Zip in partnership with London Fire Brigade.

Responsible for strategic development and management of a wide range of sports and community fundraising events. Our events portfolio included cycling, running, trekking, golf, adrenaline based challenges and supporting our 200 services across the UK with their community events and supporters.My main priority was the creation of a ground-breaking flagship fundraising triathlon, Tri Together open to disabled and non-disabled people to take part side by side. A unique, inclusive triathlon with beginners and disabled people at the heart of the planning.As Race Director of Tri Together triathlon, the event achieved great success in just two short years. In it's first year, it was shortlisted for the British Triathlon Event of the Year, won the 220 Triathlon Race of the Year (>500 entrants) and Triathlon London Professional Event of the Year 2012. Tri Together expanded to three triathlon events in 2013 taking place in London, Lancaster and Glasgow and has been joined by spinoff cycle sportive, Cycle Together. Success was due to my relationship development skills with a wide range of partners including local government, corporate partners, national governing bodies for sport including Sport England, EFDS, British Triathlon, Triathlon Scotland, England Athletics, British Cycling and Tri 247.

As Fundraising Manager, for one of Ireland’s leading health charities, I strategically developed and implemented both community and corporate fundraising initiatives. • These campaigns include a balanced calendar of membership/friendship, several national activity/sporting based events including a 4week walking programme, nationwide hillwalk and golf classic, a national raffle via direct mail, nationwide flag/pin days, corporate Christmas appeals, recruitment for all third party fundraising marathons/challenges, direct marketing campaigns, legacy promotion and a corporate gala ball.
