I am from a pure media family and have spent all my life in and among media businesses and people. After early days as a PA to Dickie Davies on World of Sport and then Richard Park at Capital Radio where I found myself involved in recruitment for all of the DJs and Producers. I loved this and then decided this was my flair and so went on to launch my first recruitment business Media Types at the age of 24 where I had as my first clients companies including ITV, Channel 4, Capital Radio, Saatchi & Saatchi, Virgin Radio to name but a few. We were the first media secretarial and HR agency to advertise on Radio and our switchboard nearly blew up.. However with 3 children under 5 I decided to go freelance as a new Business Director which I thoroughly enjoyed. Whilst being a mum I worked at 2 other major media recruiters building up their profile and then went on to launch Pulse Search and Selection in 2002 and have been absorbed by that ever since.
