I am Caroline Karp, a multi-passionate artist dedicated to the art of expressive living. My journey in the art world has taken me to incredible heights, allowing me to explore various mediums and styles while sharing my knowledge with others.I am a co-author of the international bestseller, "The Creative Lifebook," which has inspired countless women to embrace their creativity. Through my art, teaching, and podcast, I encourage others to find their artistic voice and express themselves authentically.As a premier performative artist at DC Art All Night, I painted the iconic buildings of Georgetown. It was an exhilarating experience to bring those structures to life on canvas, capturing the essence of the city through my artistic lens.I am known for my romantic expressionistic paintings, particularly those depicting travel, sailboats, and sunflowers. These subjects resonate with me deeply, and I strive to convey their beauty and emotional impact through my brushstrokes.Beyond my creative endeavors, I am deeply committed to helping others explore their artistic potential. Through one-on-one experiences, workshops, and retreats, I guide women on a transformative journey to live expressively. I firmly believe in the power of art to inspire, provoke thought, and facilitate healing.My home base is one block from the water in Clearwater, Florida, where I find joy in various activities outside of my studio. You might spot me on the golf course, engaging in a game of pickleball, on my yoga mat or immersing myself in the tranquility of the water. These moments of leisure and connection with nature fuel my creativity and keep me balanced.As an observer of the land, the sea, the weather and the buildings, I embody the essence of the experience into my art.I'm honored that my paintings have been commissioned by people worldwide and hang on walls, including celebrities such as supermodel Kate Upton and MLB player Justin Verlander.I host a weekly podcast called, Behind the Art Inspiration. It’s a conversational-style podcast where I show a sneak peek into the studio practices of all types of international artists.I live in the Tampa Bay area, and I travel to studios in DC and Kaua'i to paint and sell my artwork. When I’m away from a location, I have representatives who can show, sell, deliver and ship artwork on my behalf. I typically work on commissions at my Tampa Bay-based studio.

My inspiration derives from a deep connection to the organic flow in nature, traveling, and inner reflection. My work is acrylic-based and shifts through waves of abstract waters, honoring movement.I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts from Florida State University. Originally an oil painter, I shifted to acrylic later in life, infusing my multifaceted skill set to paint oceanic views with sailboats. My art challenges how people see the intricacies of movement and connect to the deeper meaning of one’s personal odyssey.The mise en scène within my body of work transcribes as Plein Air expressionistic painting. My medium is mixed media—acrylic paint on a large-scale canvas with a five-step process using black tissue paper and pastels. My artwork is an ongoing practice of resilience, with each creation becoming a product of the inner work I practice through yoga and meditation. My art comes to life through an open-minded curiosity, reflecting an ongoing practice of allowing, accepting, and trusting the process.My art can be purchased at CKA Gallery, where I showcase my latest works. Additionally, as an internationally renowned artist and Master Educator with a Master's degree in Education in Curriculum and Instruction, I offer online expressive arts classes for children through Creative Genius Zone. These classes blend art with literature and natural sciences, creating a rich, well-rounded educational experience. I believe in the power of creativity and parent involvement to nurture every child's inner genius and help them thrive.
