Caroline Kung is the Managing Partner of SagePath Capital, a private equity firm focused on investing in lower middle market companies to build world-class businesses that solve real-world problems. With over 20 years of industry experience, Caroline has an extensive track record of executing private equity transactions and portfolio company value creation. Previously, Caroline was a Managing Director at H.I.G. Capital where she closed 15 transactions across a variety of sectors including business services, managed IT services, enterprise software, chemicals, and healthcare services. She has served on the boards of Capstone Logistics (formed by the merger of Progressive Logistics Services and LMS Intellibound, sold to The Jordan Company), Cornerstone Chemical Company (sold to Littlejohn & Co), Infogix (acquired Agilis, sold to Thoma Bravo), DCL (formed by the merger of Dominion Colour Corporation and LANSCO Colors), Eze Castle Integration, Constructive Media (sold to Sandbox), and DHISCO (sold to RateGain). She was also actively involved with Align Networks (sold to General Atlantic) and Texas Honing (sold to Precision Castparts Corp).Earlier in her investing career, Caroline was at GB Merchant Partners, a consumer/retail private equity firm. Caroline also has operational experience as Director of Business Planning at Armani where she revamped the replenishment program and delivered sales exceeding budget and led retail intelligence to inform merchandise and distribution strategy for Armani Collezioni. Caroline began her career in Mergers & Acquisitions at Merrill Lynch.Caroline has an A.B. in Psychology and East Asian Studies from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She also has an MBA in International Luxury Brand Management from ESSEC Business School in France.
