I'm a determined person; this has been reflected in my personal relationships, athletics, and my schoolwork. All of my accomplishments are attributed to my hard work which allows me to be the person I am today. An example of this would be my journey of becoming fluent in french. By my sophomore year, I had studied French for six years and completed a one-month immersion. I was a proficient speaker aspiring to be fluent. I came to realize that the only way to become fully fluent would be a long-term study abroad. A few months later I packed my bags and at 17 years old I moved to the south of France alone for six months. After all of my hard work, I was able to leave fluent. This same hard work and dedication helps me be successful today. It is the backbone of all my accomplishments now and in my future career.
