Following a career as a music and travel photographer for a good part of my professional life, I yearned to pursue further creative endeavours and dove into a hobby of crafting accessories for my dog, Juno. I initially simply aspired to craft a few bespoke bits and pieces to match her collars, but following some positive and warm feedback on my initial designs, I decided to open an Etsy store, which launched on December 31, 2020.I did not nurture any great expectations and had only limited stock, but after two months and with the assistance of an amazing team of brand ambassadors, I succeeded in expanding the business and launching my website in parallel with a variety of new designs, which led to steady growth. I am deeply thankful for everything I have been able to do up to this point, including selling over 3,000 handcrafted (and bespoke on request) tags so far to UK, US and European customers.I put a lot of heart and personal creativity into my designs, ensuring that these are unique to Doggess Art, and therefore also to my customers and their dogs. As a forever “goth girl”, I am eternally inspired by all that is dark and mysterious, and this theme thus permeates my designs as well. My personal favourite tags are moon shapes, of which I have also crafted jewellery I wear myself!Doggess Art is relocating from the UK in the summer of 2024 to be headquartered in Vienna, Austria, where I am originally from.
