As a recruiter, I am in charge of filling job requisitions throughout many different departments within our company. I work closely with the hiring managers and applicants to find the best fit for each position. Our recruitment department is very fast paced. I source and screen all candidates, create/edit job postings, schedule interviews, administer pre-employment assessments, conduct employment verifications and references, initiate background checks, as well as drug screens.The best part of the job is getting to work with many different people and find applicants a career that they can be happy with and grow in!

During the internship, I analyzed incident trends to create scorecards through Excel, presented findings to upper management, and pitched recommendations. I also tracked safety measurements to organize transfers, audits, and safety training into reports. Created a new form for employees to complete during audits, and 5 new action plans after shop audit reviews.
