We just completed a $35 million Capital Campaign and Renovation of our historic building. As Chair of the Building Committee from 2011-2019, I led biweekly meetings, overseeing the landmarking process, planning and developing the project scope and budget, and the hiring and oversight of our design team. The process has been and continues to be immensely interesting, challenging and rewarding. I have been asked to serve as the next Board President, so I am currently serving as Board President-Elect in addition to being on the Building Committee and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee. Town Hall is such a vital part of our civic and cultural landscape here in Seattle and I am honored to play a role in ensuring its next 100 years of life.

For nearly four years, parenting was my primary role and I am incredibly grateful to have been able to spend this time with my child. I also served as Co-Chair B of King Street Cooperative Preschool, an opportunity I embraced in order to contribute my time and talents to help the preschool thrive and grow as it has helped my son to thrive and grow. Supported the Institute's mission - to lead and support the transformation toward communities that are socially just, culturally rich and ecologically restorative - within the Living Building Challenge, the built environment's most rigorous performance standard. Responsibilities included certification, education, and research initiatives and providing customer service to project teams pursuing the Living Building Challenge.

Responsibilities included CEO support, through correspondence, scheduling, research, marketing and business development efforts, as well as firm‐wide sustainability coordination and support. This includes AIA 2030 Commitment tracking and reporting and LEED Credential Maintenance support. Projects include University Prep Library, a 4,500 SF renovation in Seattle, WA

Responsibilities included permit set coordination. Projects included a 10,000 SF commercial building at The Island Gateway on Bainbridge Island and the Turner Residence, a 2,200 SF modern home in Yelm, WA.

Production Manager for a small creative firm, specializing in board game invention and design. Responsibilities include managing contractors, office databases and licensing approval processes, coordinating focus groups and playtesting, modeling prototypes in sketchup, and general office management.

Architectural Designer at a 200 person integrated design firm focused on sustainability. Learned Revit Architecture and completed LEED AP exam and National Sustainable Building Advisor Program 9-month certificate course and exam while at Mithun. Projects included The Sterling at Pasadena, a 650,000 sq. ft. senior living facility targeting LEED Silver in Pasadena, CA and InHabit, a 62 apartment + 4 work/live unit modular apartment building in Seattle, WA.

Lead designer and project manager for various residential projects, both remodels and new construction. Responsibilities included design, permitting, project management and construction administration. Projects include Lake Washington Residence, an 8,500 sq. ft. single family home, and Ravenna Houses, two 3,000 sq. ft. houses on a single lot in Seattle, WA.

Architectural Designer at a 15 person firm specializing in low-income housing. Projects included Greenbridge Center, a community center renovation and 12 unit housing project at a Hope VI redevelopment in White Center, WA, and The Winthrop, a 194 unit low-income housing renovation project in Tacoma, WA.

Two 3-month internships, in the summers before and after final year of B. Arch., at a 15 person firm where I was integral part of the project team on multiple senior living projects. Projects included Timber Ridge at Talus, a 750,000 sq. ft. senior living facility in Issaquah, WA and TheFirs, a 50,000 sq. ft. senior living facility in Bremerton, WA

Two 3-month internships, before beginning B.Arch, the summer after 1st year of B.Arch. at a 100+ person multi-disciplinary firm, where I was able to gain a broad understanding and appreciation for the architecture profession. Projects included the Millenium House, in Chapel Hill, NC, designed for Better Homes and Gardens Magazine as Home of the Year 2000.
