I am currently supervising Art Director at Triggerfish for an Anthology project being produced for Disney+. The series boasts 10 short films from across the continent. As Art director across the series I work with a diverse and incredibly talented pool of artists and directors ensuring that their vision is realised at the very highest standard for this exciting project. Working on 10 films simultaneously is challenging and rewarding. As a Visual Artist myself, I can speak to the Directors and Creators from a grass roots level and understand the creative challenges they face. 10 Films at once offers a challenge in that I need to maintain the visual integrity for each piece while ensuring that thematically we hit the tone and quality established for the series. We have a dynamic core team that is hugely supportive and talented. We work with studios across the globe on a daily basis ensuring that the art is delivered to suit their pipeline. I communicate with Directors and studio's and ensure that the Directors feel supported creatively and that the studio's art scheduling needs are being met. It is humbling to work among such great talent and it is my absolute passion to do the very best I can to ensure that the visuals for this series are realised beautifully.

I was tasked to fulfil the role of Art Director on an animated short film as part of an anthology for Disney+.

I partnered with the incredible team at Tulips and Chimneys and Passion Pictures as Production designer for brand Yupelri on their television commercial . My roles and responsibilities included developing and maintaining a consistent look for the visuals of the campaign, concept art, environment design, character design and working with a team to oversee the quality and consistency throughout the pipeline.

I had the good fortune to work with an amazing team creating visual content for a Netflix feature. The team at Tulips afforded me the opportunity to design worlds and characters for an incredibly magical story produced for Netflix. My roles and responsibilities included character design, concept art, environment design and style frames.

I was brought on board by Triggerfish Animation to work with their animation team as Production Designer for the animated short, "The Highway Rat". This is the 4th installment for BBC under the Julia Donaldson Banner, others include "The Gruffallo", "The Gruffalo's Child" "Room on the Broom" and "Stick Man".This role included world design, concept art, matte painting and leading the concept art team.

I was appointed lead concept artist for a 4 minute animated short film titled " The Curse of The Sad Mummy". The project was awarded to us by American gaming company "Riot Games". I worked closely with a small team based in Cape Town as lead artist developing concept boards, character art, design elements and painted background scenery. I was given creative freedom within the project under the very talented art direction of Ree Treweek. We worked in Adobe After effects for the final animation and outsourced the 3D modeling and animation. I worked for FHM SA on a monthly / freelance basis for many years providing them with illustrations for features and regulars. We recently ended our contract due to my workload no longer affording me the time to contribute towards their magazine. Many a tight deadline was met and many a strange story illustrated. I worked at Heroes 4 Africa, a comic book company, dually while apprenticing at Video Lab. I fulfilled the position of penciler, inker and colourist.

I worked at VideoLab Cape Town for just under 2 years doing an apprenticeship in cell animation. My tasks and education included key framing, in betweening, background illustration, character design, style / treatments for editing and finished art storyboards for commercials.
