Chris Tomlin Drive-In Concert: Social media coordinator, handled cross-promotional marketing with local media to promote the event, secured donations for the silent auction, and served in a leadership capacity with the volunteers for the production of the concert on site. Pop-up Sports Bar Tailgate: Planned the entertainment and design components of the event and wrote captions for social media posts to promote the tailgate.

My career started at Nordstrom at the age of 17 when I was accepted into the Nordstrom Fashion Board program. They hired the new members and me to support the store during their annual Anniversary Sale. At the end of summer 2015, my manager asked me to stay and work for them part-time during school. Since then, I have worked every holiday break and summer during college. Here is a synopsis of the work I have done during my time at Nordstrom so far:Took care of customers' needs when it came to returns, exchanges, problems with online orders, and solving billing problems.Assisted personal stylists with go-backs and supported their needs during appointments with clients.Orchestrated and produced three posts for the Nordstrom at NorthPark Center Instagram account where I scouted the models, selected their clothing as well as photographed the looks. Merchandised product for the fine jewelry and fashion accessories department.Helped customers buy high-end products, including fine jewelry and clothing.

I moved to NYC during my month-long Christmas break to support the Nordstrom NYC Flagship store. Here's is a synopsis of what I did: Assisted the stylist lounge where I handled go-backs, scouted merchandise for personal stylists', ran errands in the city for customers, and helped manage the front desk. Supported the holiday pop-up shop where I helped wrap hundreds of gifts.

Managed social media accounts daily: Instagram (@wacoan); Facebook (@wacoan).Produced digital content strategy weekly using Planoly on Instagram and Facebook to reach 34,000+ subscribers. Spearheaded an omnichannel campaign for actress Candace Cameron Bure’s book signing, which reached 6,000+ users.Secured $400 in merchandise for advertisers’ promotional campaigns.Styled the model for the February 2020 magazine cover.

Published weekly in their online blog promoting popular upcoming local events. Assisted with photoshoots by organizing outfits for models to try on and take back the merchandise to advertisers.Delivered 1,000+ magazines to advertisers each month.

Wrote a feature on former editor-in-chief of People magazine, Jess Cagle that was awarded second place by Society of Professional Journalists, Region 8.Edited and fact-checked stories, designed multiple pages, and wrote headlines and cutlines each print night.

Pitched, wrote, and published multiple articles each week for print and online editions. Writings were selected multiple times for the front page print edition. Some stories garnered the most views and were recognized in the weekly “top five stories” list.
