My role as an analyst in the Jet Fuel Supply team was mainly involving strategic pricing and contract management with more than 50 fuel suppliers worldwide. I was responsible for the daily analysis of jet fuel price references through Argus and Platts reports, sharing them with the Supply Chain CEO, Marketing and Sales directors with the fuel industry's forecast, as well as internal control of financial market updates in order to assure our future contracts and tender negotiation are competitive. Highlights of some skills: Self-starter with high sense of urgency and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, such as coordinating with fuel operations, fuel accounting, tax, maintenance and airports regarding any issues which many impact fuel supply;Providing weekly and monthly reports to the financial area containing cash flow and invoices to be paid (over US$ 2 bi annual budget);Daily contact and executive meetings with suppliers such as Shell, WorldFuel and Petrobras over more than 50 international airports around Europe, South and North America in order to ensure quality of product delivered;Leading and supporting worldwide maintenance team in procedures of documents insertion and handling fuel and aircrafts management software such as SAP, AIMS, Meta;Develop performance metrics to measure the supply base and lead supplier performance reviews, using key internal customers and stakeholders across the company;Coordinating LATAM's operations staff through daily reports and aiming at reducing the rate of delays in the supply operation.

The area works sideways with the chilean nucleus, responsible for all negotiation of Jet Fuel, rates, management and control of LATAM contracts, as well as projects and plans to reduce fuel costs.In 2010, TAM conducted the first experimental flight with biofuel based on jatropha oil and it was recognized as the best company in Latin America in aviation fuel management, awarding the Armbrust Awards four times in the category "Best Aviation Fuel Department".
