As the Director of Advocacy at Project Help, I lead a team of passionate and dedicated advocates who work with vulnerable individuals and families to provide them with the support, resources, and opportunities they need to thrive after victimization. I liaise with multi-disciplinary internal teams and external parties to ensure the organization effectively implements strategy around survivor needs, to offer them the most effective support throughout legal and other processes. I have over seven years of experience in community advocacy, where I have developed strong skills in communication, collaboration, problem-solving, referral growth, data analysis, legal research, crisis management and leadership. I have also contributed to multiple projects and initiatives that aim to raise awareness, influence policy, and create positive change in the field of advocacy. My mission is to empower marginalized and underserved communities, and to ensure that their voices are heard and respected.
