Carol is currently an Organizational Effectiveness consultant in the Defense & Security segment at Guidehouse. Throughout her career, she has successfully led and managed numerous efforts in organizational assessment and change, strategic planning, process improvement, program development, and training design and delivery. Prior to Guidehouse, Carol spent over 15 years coaching executives and other leaders in the nonprofit and corporate sectors and is well-versed in helping others establish priorities and improve performance in measurable, sustainable ways. She also spent several years coaching young adults, and has always been known as a trusted, compassionate advisor who meets people where they are and builds collaborative relationships that are rooted in respect, transparency, curiosity, and candor. She is calm under pressure, has a solid sense of humor, and offers a unique perspective and approach based on her experience in leading and coaching people with a broad range of personalities and abilities. Carol earned an MA in Social-Organizational Psychology from Columbia University and a BA in English from Rutgers University. She grew up in New York and Minnesota, spent several years living in New Jersey and DC, and currently resides in Maryland with her husband and two kids, who have all recently been rescued by their adopted dog, Henry.
