I previously worked in the NHS initially as a nurse then as a midwife for 19 years before qualifying as a solicitor. I knew instinctively that I wanted to act for vulnerable individuals and families who had suffered a serious injury as a result of medical negligence. My former profession has been invaluable since entering the field of medical/clinical negligence.I am passionate about what I do, have a common sense approach and work extremely hard to achieve a successful outcome for all my clients. I have considerable experience and have represented clients from a wide section of moderate to high value complex clinical negligence claims. Knowing the legal jargon is one thing but explaining it in simple terms to clients is another in allowing them to fully understand the aspects of their claim and ensuring their involvement throughout.Client care is paramount and I strive to ensure the client journey is smooth and trustworthy. I am recognised for my expertise by being awarded the Law Society Accreditation in Clinical Negligence and listed and recommended in Legal 500 for my work.
