AYCA - American Yacht Charter Association President (Current), International Yacht Brokers Association's Charter Professional of the Year 2017 ~~~ Water Covers 70% of the World… So Do We!™: this has been our company motto since 1986.Over a 30-year professional career, after a childhood on the American Great Lakes, I have arranged yacht vacations on chartered super yachts, group incentive programs and private getaways for some of the world's most discriminating and high net worth clients, sending them with care to exotic locales that completely encompass the 7 seas.I have built close professional relations with yacht owners, chefs, crews, ports of call, and numerous land and sea outfitters and hospitality organizations, from American Express Centurion card members to the local, obscure gems of hospitality providers in faraway lands. With my video camera (iPhone) in hand, I strive to document my journeys into the world of yachting. My entertaining interviews can be found on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.What you may not know about me…I moved to Massachusetts from Wisconsin in my early 20’s, working in Boston’s inner city as a Social Worker. What better education for dealing with our diverse industry of individuals! In the coastal town of Marblehead, I met Christopher Kent. We spent many summer days sailing on classic yachts as well as racing. We married and honeymooned on Martha’s Vineyard. Sons Alexander & Nicholas came along. Sadly, Chris passed away in 2010.One of the team members who joined me early on was Sue Gearan. We worked from my home office, building a successful day & term charter business in Boston. In 2016, Sue came back to do outside sales, working from our office in Newport, RI. As a boat owner and member of the Marblehead Yacht Club, I love spending time with family plying these historic waters.I owe my successful company to our wonderful clients, friends, family and my team!
