About Carolle Varughese
👋🏽 I’m a research analyst that can probably talk too much about how exciting outer space is. I’ve been a night sky enthusiast for over 13 years and in that time I have hunted for exoplanets as a research observer, been a council member for the Auckland Astronomical Society, and led the Education Group for the Royal Astronomical Society of New Zealand. Having worked at PM’s Chief Science Advisor’s Office, high schools, universities, and not-for-profit organisations, I am learning to blend my public policy, education, and physics expertise. Let’s have a chat about developing policy recommendations focused on preserving the night sky for future generations and ensuring equitable access to space. My research interests lie at the intersection of space sustainability, regulation and policy, and system-level dynamics of the space sector. ✨ Currently considering doctoral research positions.
Listed skills include Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, Research, and 14 others.
