I believe in honesty with both clients and candidates and I really enjoy building the relationships on both sides. In my experience, each person in the recruitment process is looking for a listening ear and some understanding of their perspective in order to come up with solutions.I’m a busy working mother of 2 little boys (and wife of 1 big one). I have been working for RecruitmentPlus- an amazing, people-focused recruitment agency- for the past 5 years, where I’ve found some of my greatest friends and mentors. I’ve been in the recruitment business for over 20 years, starting off at 19 in the thriving hospitality industry and moving into overseas recruitment of mechanics to Australia, New Zealand and Canada during the downturn. I’ve made the odd career change over the years, one to work in childcare as I love children (I’m from a family of 5 children!) and another to work with the long term unemployed, as community work is something that is close to my heart. I think I keep coming back to recruitment over the years as I really love the achievement of helping someone on their journey to their ideal role and helping them have a positive experience. There is no call like the call you make to someone to offer them a job they want! It’s the best feeling.
