I have worked for Perrigo full time since September of 1986 where I was hired from manpower to full time on the tablet packaging lines here at plant 5. I then moved to Quality Control Release area doing releasing of all product and keeping the retain inventory as well as paperwork filing and r-kiving. A position was made in the QC Lab for a Grade 5 that did not require a college degree. (I only had 1 year of College even though that included many science and math classes it was not a degree) I applied for and got the position in the QC Lab. Using written quizes, as well as doing unknown material testing/quizing and increasing my skills with experience and training, I was gradually promoted to where I am today. It has been a lot of hard work but a very eye opening and enjoyable journey that I thank the Perrigo family for allowing me to experience and continue to experience as I continue to grow with the company! My children have come to the conclusion that they want to work for Perrigo as well and my son Benjamin Korreck is working full time in the maintenance department while my daughter Sarah Korreck was at one time working plant 7 tablet lines.
