Senior Vice President Of Communications And Marketing
CurrentServe as chief communications strategist and counsel to CLF staff and leadership—expanding CLF’s market visibility, influence, and reputation through multi-media communications strategies. Leverage audience insights/data, content, and message testing to push advocacy messages and counter disinformation campaigns across CLF’s core programs, including climate change, clean water, environmental justice, and ocean conservation.Communications strategy and advocacy support include; securing communications funding through corporate and family foundation grants; increasing media coverage (e.g., articles, opinion pieces, news stories, broadcast interviews); and amplifying paid media (e.g., Mother Jones, NPR).Brand positioning, digital expansion, and member engagement include:Redesigning CLF’s website and core brand elements.Producing issue and general awareness videos.Redesigning online fundraising.Leveraging social media to push CLF’s priority campaigns and messaging.Expanding CLF’s use of action alerts and email acquisition.Internal leadership includes:Department building and team/resource development.Developing campaign planning and power mapping strategy.Media training for leadership, team members, and organizational spokespersons.Committees: Serve on CLF's DEI Committee, chairing the committee from 2019 to 2021.
