Summary: I run my own practice, which includes Foreclosure Defense, Bankruptcy, Estate Planning, Animal Law, and more. I am Admitted in New York State, as well as in federal court, EDNY, Bankruptcy Court, and will be seeking other Admissions. I also practiced in the Second Circuit Court of Appeals on a disability and FMLA discrimination in Labor case, with many other Causes of Action, including ERISA, against a very large firm about a third of all folks do business with.I worked on Wall Street for a number of years. Some of these positions included: portfolio manager and administrator, and manager in a large bank as well as a trust company. I also worked with mortgage-backed securities, and was able to discern many "issues" with them. This gives me an insight into many of my focus areas, including Foreclosure Defense.I also did, and still do, animal rescue work. I started out fostering dogs, volunteering at a no-kill shelter and then a kill shelter (I figured those animals needed me even more), running my own rescue non-profit, and doing Pet Therapy at nursing homes, I was shocked at what I saw and learned, and finally decided I HAD to become an attorney, and so I did.I now run a new non-profit, NY PAW (New Yorkers Protecting Animal Welfare), and my regular legal work leans towards underdog work, with a prime focus on foreclosure defense, which combines my Wall Street and legal skills, and helps true human underdogs out as well. I also lecture on animal law, to the public as well as law students. NY PAW's 501c3 is pending-paperwork was sent out to get it done. So, my plate is happily full and I look forward to connecting with others, especially those interested in these areas.
