ANCC board certified as Nurse Executive, Advanced with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice, Healthcare Systems Leadership completing a capstone project for innovative design and implementation of a visual dashboard within EHR aimed at decreasing central line-associated bloodstream infections (CLABSI).Obtained Fellow recognition by Healthcare Information Systems Society (FHIMSS) in 2019 and has retained certification as a Certified Professional in Health Information Systems (CPHIMS) since 2006. Attended Clinical Informatics training at Epic and have over 10 years' experience with Cerner solutions. In 2019, was awarded the March of Dimes "Nurse of the Year" for state of WA in the category of "Nursing Technology/Analytics". Developed graduate-level Nursing Informatics course and serve as Associate Professor at Seattle University to teach course periodically. Contributed to a variety of professional publications and manuscripts. I believe strongly in the inclusion of clinical staff as a way to impact overall adoption and an avenue to transform healthcare.
