Carol Spader is the founder and owner of Wisdom that Works, LLC, a coaching/consulting business built around the dream and a calling to simply help organizations and the people in them, bring their best selves to work and life so they can positively impact others. Driven to discover what truly works, Carol has spent 10 years designing, planning, implementing and evaluating employee engagement strategies in her own family’s business. Since 2015, she’s been applying her passion for rehumanizing work for other organizational and individual clients. She is trained and certified as an Intrinsic Coach® through Intrinsic Solutions International, a licensed Thriving Workplace Cultures Consultant™, a Certified Dream Manager® and most recently a licensed Developing A Leadership Mindset Facilitator™️. Carol also holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Administration from the University of SD and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Augustana University. Prior to the world of workplace wellbeing, Carol spent 10 years in the HR field recruiting, hiring, training, and coordinating employee and team development strategies in manufacturing, medical, academic and professional office settings. She has additional experience working in public health with schools, communities, nonprofits and service providers especially around the issues of mental health and substance abuse. Carol is also a graduate of Leadership Sioux Falls and the "The Oven" business incubator project at The Bakery, Sioux Falls, SD. She and her husband owned Spader Business Management, a total business training and consulting firm, for 20 years until it was recently sold to another company.
