In her current role, Carol leads the Information Security organization at publicly traded Pharma responsible for championing and executing a leading class Information Security program across all divisions.She brings over 20 years of experience in the delivery of enterprise information security and technology solutions. Most recently, as the CISO for the Long Term Stock Exchange, Prior to that as the global CISO for NICE Systems, a technology executive in the Global Information Security division at Bank of America leading a security engineering group responsible for quality & sustainability engineering. She's held executive level information security positions at the City of New York, Johnson and Johnson and Health Care Systems and additional information technology functions at PricewaterhouseCoopers and United Parcel Service.Carol has a diverse range of information security experience in several industries; financial, government, healthcare, transportation and Big 4 consulting. Her skill set includes security engineering, audit, regulatory compliance & governance, security awareness, and security policy development. Carol has been honored as one of Computerworld Magazine’s Premier 100 IT Leaders. She holds a B.S. in Operations Management and an M.S. in Management Information Systems, both from New Jersey Institute of Technology. She recently completed her M.S. In Cyber Security from NYU's Polytechnic School of Engineering, a designated Center of Academic Excellence by the National Security Agency (NSA).Carol holds several industry certifications including CISSP, CISM, PMP, FEMA-NIMS, and ITIL. Additionally she has a graduate certification from the Board Leadership Institute at Seton Hall University and serves on several non-profit boards.
