- Procure materials, instruments, software and services from all over the world for Alstom R&D department - Check the Quality of supply, monitor the suppler's delivery, capacity and cost- Streamline and continuous review procedures for the procurement/sourcing of goods and services- Negotiate with suppliers: technical requirements, prices, delivery time, commercial terms

- Managing two Chinese subcontracting partners through implementing scorecard and regular business reviews- Optimize the "lengthy" supply chain through communicating with sales-marketing for proactively forecasting and planning the overall demand- Conduct operative purchasing for electronic, mechanical and optical parts for 2 product groups

- Work as a core team member of the project "sourcing from China"- Perform market analyses, identified potential Chinese suppliers and pre-screening them for Kaba group- The categories include: lock and powder metallurgical parts

- Perform a variety of materials tests such as tensile, compression, roughness, hardness, micro-hardness and profile measurement- Prepare specimens for micro-structure examination, photographed and edit images using image access- Carry out failure analyses for food & aerosol cans, welding machine parts, execute welding seam examination and tin plate test and evaluation- Document experiment reports regarding findings, analysis, conclusions and recommendations
