About Carol Velandia

Hi! I’m an undergrad at the University of Florida pursuing a double major in Art History and Political Science with a minor in Latin American Studies. Influenced by my time as both student and intern, I plan to pursue a graduate degree studying the ancient arts of Mesoamerica. I aspire to incite new dialogues and contribute new understandings behind Mesoamerican arts and culture through research and curation. My dream is to be an essay contributor to SmartHistory, inspiring and supporting current and future generations of art historians.
