Using my passion for advocating for survivors of domestic violence and intimate partner violence, I helped to build one of the most comprehensive systems of support in the country. Our campus included 125 shelter beds, a licensed daycare, state of the art kennel and support services. Nineteen offsite locations provided legal advocacy, crisis response and support. Our prevention programs started at preschool and continued through to adults in business, faith communities and first responders. The R3 App won global awards and helped medical professionals screen for IPV and find resources instantly.

I was fortunate to spend 13 years creating and implementing in gender responsive programming for girls at risk of incarceration and institutionalization. Our success rate is seen in the graduates and the impact they have now on the next generation. This opportunity allowed me to gain experience in research and juvenile justice prevention programming as well as hone my skills as an advocate.

My first introduction to gender based programming, WomanReach provided services to women who were in need of assistance that was not readily available in the early 90's. Our services included volunteer peer to peer counseling, support groups, anti-violence, career assistance and educational life skill classes.
