Having originally studied psychology at the University of Liverpool I decided to pursue a career in law. I completed my Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course at the College of Law in Christleton.I was fortunate enough to be offered a training contract at Hibberts LLP when I left college and after completing my training contract I was given a fulltime position.Having enjoyed Company and Commercial law I was placed in our Company and Commercial department where I undertook a variety of work including advising on buying and selling companies and businesses and drafting a wide range of commercial contracts.Being in this department has also afforded me the opportunity of gaining experience in Commercial Litigation. This experience has given me an excellent insight into the problems that businesses can face which allows me to provide proactive and pragmatic advice to my clients before matters become litigious.Specialties: Commercial Law - particularly general commercial contracts, terms and conditions for websites and privacy policies.Company Law - in particular, buying and selling companies whether it be shares or the business and assets of those companies; advising upon and drafting shareholder agreements and partnership agreements (both LLP and unincorporated partnerships)Commercial Litigation Commercial LeasesAdvising on Care Home funding and associated assessments
