As a young girl, my passion for serving seniors came from seeing my father's commitment to the elderly while in the military. Following him around the world gave me a deep appreciation for helping others, and inspired my career. I majored in Nursing from WSSU, graduating with honors. After 20 years in healthcare however, my journey led me to establish Wisdom Senior Care as an alternative to the current senior housing and healthcare crisis in the US.Every day in the US, about 65,000 citizens enter the senior age bracket. Unfortunately, a large number of them are sent off to senior homes and forgotten about for too long. That’s why I founded Wisdom, to give seniors the opportunity to retire with dignity where they belong.
