In various capacities, I've spent my whole career working with people to help them look, feel, perform and 'be' their best. This has given me a deep understanding of the complexities that contribute to employee engagement, performance and wellbeing. Starting a hairdressing apprenticeship at 15, I quickly learnt how to engage with people as they shared their stories, worries and life highlights. At 20, I realised I could do more and returned to part-time study, this is where my life-long love of learning began. Believing one opportunity leads to the next, I've worked in many roles across customer service, health & fitness, fatigue management and, learning & organisational development and HR. I've worked in industries including construction, aviation, travel and transport, mining, corrections and call centres. For the past decade, I've held various learning, organisational development & P&C leadership roles in the construction and manufacturing industries. I have an unstoppable drive to make a difference to the wellbeing of construction (and all blue collar) workers. We know the construction workforce is riddled with significant mental health challenges. An entrepreneur at heart, I'm passionate about business. I love working with people, guiding them to discover their potential, supporting them when times are tough, encouraging them when I know they can do more. My passion is to combine my whole lifes work! Using the science of hope and strengths together with other positive psychology interventions, I develop personalised programs for individual and businesses to creeate positive change throughout the employee life cycle. This increases engagement, wellbeing, culture and ultimately business performance and profit.
