This is a generalist role covering all aspects of HR with the aim of attracting and developing the best talent in the area, fostering a high performance culture and being an employer of choice.

I was self-employed as an HR Consultant. HR Foundations provided pragmatic, hands-on HR and employment law advice/support to a range of companies, predominantly SMEs which did not have an in-house HR Manager. Whether the client was a start-up company needing some initial HR advice or an established business looking for regular or ad-hoc HR support, HR Foundations offered a high quality, tailored service as and when the client needed it at a much lower cost than employing a permanent HR professional.

I was the first HR Manager the Company had employed and was responsible for setting up the HR function, ensuring the company was legally compliant and putting in place all HR policies and procedures. I was part of the senior management team responsible for developing and implementing people practices to complement business objectives

Responsible for all recruitment across the Midlands region up to and including partner level

I held a number of different roles ranging from store HR Manager through to regional and Head office roles
