It wasn’t obvious to me that I’d end up where I am — as a Director for one of the most amazing and encouraging companies in the country (in one of the most amazing cities in the country, I might add). I thought for sure that my career in the accounting would be limited to debits, credits, and financial statements. But it isn’t, and I couldn’t be more grateful. After graduating from Louisiana State University, I started my career at EY, where I helped large organizations with process improvement initiatives. From there, I moved to a private oil and gas company, helping them implement a treasury and cash management process and revamping the accounts payable process. At that point, I could feel that I was ready for more – more challenge, more opportunity, and more introspection. And that’s when I found Siegfried and my professional and personal life began to change. I’m so passionate about helping others, but I was never really able to articulate what that meant in a professional setting. Now, I realize it’s at the forefront of what we do at Siegfried. Leadership Advisory is about helping people be better leaders of themselves so that they can be better leaders to others. Every day at work, I have the chance to help people accomplish their goals, and I have an even greater opportunity to teach them a way to lead the people in their lives a little differently so everyone can be more successful. When I think about success, I think about always working toward becoming the best version of myself. I’m so looking forward to my future and continuing to find this type of success in my life – in all of its forms: personally, professionally, emotionally, financially, etc. And I’m especially looking forward to my future at Siegfried — an exciting, entrepreneurial company filled with motivational leaders who genuinely support one another.
