As Chief Strategy & Innovation Officer I provide leadership on issues related to corporate strategy, regulatory affairs, and programmatic/mission alignment, operational efficiencies, and identify entrepreneurial opportunities that leverage the Partnership’s expertise to build revenue. Using skills in evidence-based decision-making, I support the growth of the organization based on information from the primary literature, particularly on matters related to public health, quality improvement, and patient safety. I forge beneficial collaborations with academia, government, member hospitals, other community-based organizations, and potential funders. I am responsible for guiding organizational strategy on issues related to information technology and data collection, analysis, and reporting. I have primary responsibility for program grant management, including the identification of grant opportunities, development of application strategies, identification of collaborators, proposal writing, post-award contract negotiation, alignment of programmatic and financial strategy, renewal documentation, and program evaluation. I also nurture highly visible programs of particular strategic or political sensitivity, guiding them to become fiscally sound initiatives that reflect positively on the organization.
