There is nothing worse than mark-timing and going nowhere.👋Hi, my name is Carolyne Kamau.👉I am a dynamic professional with over 10 years of experience in grants management, auditing, financial management, systems review, technical analysis, cash flow management, procurement, budgeting and proposal development. Highly skilled in project management, grants design and implementation, risk management, performance management, managing donor funds, grantee and stakeholder engagement, contract management, capacity building, training and mentoring of teams and project partners. Well versed in Windows/Mac packages, Microsoft Office, IDEA data management tool and QuickBooks accounting system. Some of my achievements include:💎Providing financial leadership and strategic direction to the CIFF Africa team on all matters finance including developing the annual business plans and supporting the team in achieving the Africa Strategy.💎Spearheading the development of the CIFF VFM framework and conducting training on the framework to all CIFF staff globally.💎Supported the capacity building of local grantees by contributing to a cohort training curriculum (6 local grantees are currently going through the training) and capacity assessment of 3 local partners.👉The desire to do meaningful work that is making a change in the lives of the less fortunate/ marginalized members of the community drew me to the development sector. I want to one day say that I contributed to making the world a better place. I also love numbers and problem solving with numbers.
