Swimming WA is one of the leading sporting organisations in Western Australia, representing 85 clubs and more than 6000 registered swimmers across the state.Our aim is to create a well defined development pathway for swimmers, coaches, volunteers and officials at all levels and encourages swimmers to get involved from grass roots juniors through to world champions.As a not-for-profit organisation, Swimming WA relies on its generous sponsors and supporters, enabling the growth of swimming as a sport in Western Australia.As Performance and Development Manager, I am responsible for creating recruitment and retention strategies for swimmers, coaches and officials in WA to lead them to Australian Team representation and Olympic podium success. I am currently managing a team of 4 who are tasked with increasing grass roots participation in swimming, creating a pathway from Learn to Swim to Club environment and managing the development of talented athletes, coaches & officials in WA.

The role required coordination of the swim school program and staff management of swim schools across two venues. Both programs combined have 3000 swimmers and 80 staff, all of which were under my direct responsibility.

Terrey Hills Swim School has 3000 active swimmers, offering classes for babies, learn to swim students, and squads for adults and elite swimmers.
