Provided direction to ASAE and its International Committee on its role internationally, managed ASAE's International Section, and developed partnerships with other international societies of association executives (SAEs). Developed the “Associations Make a Better World” slogan and campaign, and organized and led study missions to Europe and Latin America.

Organized a new government affairs department, shaped the association’s approach to government, inter-industry, and international affairs issues, and marketed and managed a U.S. glass industry pavilion at Glassex in Birmingham, England.
