Hi, my name is Carolyn Mack. I am currently a Registered Nurse that just completed the Accelerated Career Entry (ACE) Nursing Program at Drexel University. I am a passionate, hard-working, enthusiastic and a team player. I am an outgoing, positive person and I think I would be beneficial to any hospital. Besides my enthusiasm for nursing, I worked in the public health field before I pursued my nursing degree. I graduated from Temple University in 2013 with a Bachelor of Science in Public Health. In my field I was able to listen, advocate and educate the young people in the Philadelphia population. Throughout my time working with the various communities in Philadelphia, I was able to build on my skills as a health professional by encouraging the people to take care of themselves, talked about different ways of protecting their health, and talking to them about the various resources that are available to them. During the time I was working in the public health field I was able to hone my communication skills, and become more confident in my ability to help people in need, especially in the health field. I am ready and willing to expand my knowledge and learn more skills to become a more critically thinking nurse and be able to build on providing better patient care.
