Pan Pac Cyclone Gabrielle Recovery (Project Phoenix), Napier NZ – March 2023 to June 2024 – Pulp Mill LV Lead Electrical Engineer responsible for development and implementation of the LV equipment recovery strategy within the Pulp Mill. Provided on the ground site -based technical leadership in the assessment of flooded electrical equipment, development of the detailed strategy for each MCC, control panel and auxiliary equipment, followed up by leading design tasks for remediation works and providing construction and commissioning support.

Key projects in this role included:Mataura Valley Milk 20MW Electrode Boiler installation - HV technical lead for Aurecon for the installation of the largest electrode boiler to be installed in Australasia at the MVM Dairy Factory at Gore, NZ.Fonterra Te Rapa Electrical Resilience Post Cogen (Hamilton, NZ)– July 2022 to April 2023 – LV and controls design lead for upgrade works associated with the removal of the Contact Energy cogen unit at Fonterra’s Te Rapa dairy factory.Pan Pac Primary Refiners Heat Recovery Project Preliminary Design, Napier NZ – March 2022 to October 2022 – LV lead for preliminary design, including strategy for electrical and controls implementation.Viva Energy Pinkenba Terminal (Brisbane, Qld) DCS Upgrade – December 2021 to April 2023– Project leader responsible for the complete detailed design for the brownfield control system changeover at the Viva Energy Pinkenba Terminal in Brisbane. Scope has included development of changeover methodology for the complete I/O systems from existing from Schneider Momentum PLCs (and other misc PLC systems) to new Yokogawa Centum DCS. Defence Fuels Transformation Project, Australia, Australian Defence Force, June 2018 to December 2021 Electrical Design Lead responsible for the electrical engineering team working on upgrades to fuel storage facilities at Defence bases throughout Australia.
