Provision of technical support to senior coastal technicians in the co-ordination of coastal monitoring to support the North West Regional Coastal Monitoring Programme for the development of Shoreline Management Plans (SMPs), Coastal Defence Strategies and operational management of coastal protection and flood defences. Extensive coastal zone surveying using deferential GNSS survey techniques to monitor volume, position and form of the coastal environment and the forces action upon it.
