Michigan International Prep School is a forward-thinking, free K-12 online school. MIPS is driven by a very simple idea: no two students are the same, and the educational pathway should should reflect that. Our dedicated mentors work closely with our students to design a unique learning experience. We even offer a menu of specialized learning Pathways for students who want to earn free college credit, or focus on subjects like music, art, theatre, cybersecurity or military service. Responsible for the creation of digital media (graphics, video production, LIVE streaming events and activities &, etc.) in which supports the 'Wolfpack' brand. Co-facilitate the marketing team and establish planning and communication systems that support the organization.

Created and established a HIGH-QUALITY virtual learning program for 6-12 grades for G2S Academy including policy, protocols, procedures, and the administration of the entire program. Including providing and establishing systems for a student 1:1 program in which included G2S Academy providing each learner with wifi/hotspot devices. Also, I developed individual learning plans for a variety of students and families by utilizing our highly successful Instructional project-based learning design model; much of these plans included local homeschool families seeking PBL support. Provided a daily video webinar experience (Focusing on Social & Emotional Care) for all online virtual learners in which included connecting students with global partners (See: Global Webinar video) while monitoring and assessing each student's academic progress. An already strong, successful, and engaging virtual learning program allowed for G2S Academy to respond to school closures of face-to-face instruction as we transitioned to fully remote learning from March 2020 to June 2020. During this response plan, I developed and created professional development learning opportunities around best teaching practices, digital tools, resources, and strategic plans in response to COVID school closure for staff & students. Continued to support staff and students with course work as an Instructional Coach and project support of the PBL design. Strengthen the development of our social & emotional program in creating C-Teams, in which were daily virtual connection points for all students; lessons and activities focusing around the theme of leadership were the focus of the student experiences. With an already strong virtual learning platform established prior to COVID SHUTDOWN, G2S Academy was able to thrive and grow into a leader throughout our region in delivering high-quality virtual and face-to-face synchronous and asynchronous learning opportunities.

The Mason County Central Middle School Veterans Day Program was established to inform, inspire and honor our local veterans. Our veterans program has evolved into a marque event for the surrounding four county community and school district. Each year we honor and celebrate the service of over 110 veterans and over the past few years we have saluted a total of 200+ different veterans throughout the area. We feel strongly that our American Veterans deserve such recognition for their sacrifice, commitment and dedication to this nation. As it is our duty, as a public institution, to take this opportunity to 'teach' the next generation of such values that have made this country great.
